guys, my uncle's 520, 2.2 litres gearbox just went kaput. the gear does'nt upshift.can u please share you experience on how to rectify this and where and how much?

There might be hope if your uncle immediately stop driving when he realize the situation. The only way to this is to disassemble the gearbox and check to what extend the damage is. Let me know if you want to try my mechanic.

Got the same problem as your uncle.. 2.2 lit gearbox. To take down the engine.. open it.. change the kit.. clean it up.. got to change the engine oil twice after 1000 km...total wud cost you at least rm 5500.00. Oucccchhhh.. need help pls pm me

Dear Mr Astroboy.. When you change the kit in the gearbox they need to flush out the engine oil b4 they can open the gearbox..once change they have to put back the oil back in maaahh.. kalau tak mcmana mau jalan itu kereta. After 1000 km it's wise change again the engine oil.. phewww

note.. They don't take your engine out only the gearbox..
