E38 Need Help...

Just awhile ago when I started the engine, the dashboard flashed 'SPEED 16.9 MPH'...I switched off and restarted, the same message appeared...Any sifu out there who can help????

maybe got some fault which u can't drive more than 16.9mph. better go to ur workshop to diagnose the problem

Could you have accidentally set a speed limit in your OBC?

Andrew could be right, do check that. Otherwise, YaZmeeN is right, go to a reliable E38 pro.

Can you drive above the limit though? Is your tranny working fine, i.e. not stuck on 3rd gear or anything like that? Cause the car could go into safe mode.....

Can try Optimum. They are good with the OBC settings.

if you set the speed limiter, it could mean the car will give warning sound when you go above the speed. Try to reset your all your OBC settings.

does your car comes with the MKII nav system? it might be the speed calibration for the OBC and Nav

I resolved it this morning by pressing the BC!

Must be my fault for activating it without realising it!:embarassed:
