If your 38 comes with factory ice with amp... Then it will be pain in the butt to find bette speakers. I would suggest maintain all ori speakers and upgrade a sub. The ori speakers 5.25" are woofes and not mid. the mid and tweet are to small ones on top. Cannot find anything else to top them. The amp out put are filtered and will be pain to cross.
If u have 728i then no such issue lah...

I share with you that the stock system on the 728i is very decent. I have heard quite a bit elsewhere and I do find the SQ on the stock 728i is very very acceptable. Perhaps it just need to add a sub that can compliment the whole system.
BTW my stock amp have this problem that sometime it can switch off and on for no apparent reason. Do you know anyone who can fix the stock amp..?
