Recently got my E36 reupholstered, and it seems they shorted some circuitry. My windows cannot be rolled down when the door is closed. But when either of the front doors are open, the windows work as usual.
Other symptoms are: vanity lights no longer light up, dome light doesn't go off when doors are closed (only goes off after I lock the doors). I've found sporadic information on overseas forum but no mention of a fix.
Wonder if anyone has encountered this and know what to do to fix it?
