E36 long shaft

Dear all, How much is the long shaft for E36 318i new and second from chop shop.Anybody has experience replacing?How much will be the labor cost? Thank you.

i have changed before. the cost done about RM750 siap pasang ( kedai potong normally RM650 )..... dono is cheap or not. that one i changed after 2 month i use my E36. than extra RM150 to change the centre bush ( donno the term code name ) .... i think that is to high.. try to survey less than my cost done.

By longshaft I'm assuming you mean the main propshaft.... it is more common that the prop bush (aka "dougnut") is worn and needs replacing... rarely the shaft itself.

I could be wrong, but do check first before you spend that money

got it in Kg melayu subang. very cheap for e36. around RM300.(chop shop laa)

I got mine in JB for RM350.

aduhh.... kena tipu sudah gua. at that time my long shalf coupling problem and the bush also koyak. first time im repair my udm after 2 month used it.
