This morning car doors won't open. Locked car as normal with alarm last night.1) used key to manually open doors - only front passenger side door opens. All the other 3 doors remain closed.2) tried to pull up the pins for the 3 effected doors. when i pull them up, it moves "up or down". It does not stay fixed in one position. The pins appear "loose"3) cannot open the drivers side door with the key. door lock seem jammed. key turns but no movement in the locking mechanismSo, now i am left with a car where I cannot open the drivers door. checked the fuse, all seem OK.Need help here guys & gals.

if me, id disconnect the battery for a a few minnutes---- re connect then try again with the remote.........

@shan..try your horn without starting ya car..just turn on the key to start mode.. Hear the tone if ya horn..if its deterorating and becoming low..then most likely ya battery needs to be changed..

you battery is flat. When you lock the car, the dead bolt and lock is activated. if your battery is flat, it will not release the dead bolt via remote key.

hence you will feel the springy feeling for the passenger doors. you can also open the front passenger door with the manual lock ( same like what you did with the driver door).

Note: you cannot unlock from inside the car if the dead bolt lock is not release.

But same time pls do a voltage check for ya alternator as you never know the alternator drained up ya battery..

bro, how does the alternator drain the battery charge? Even if the slip ring and the carbon brush are worn out, the regulator and rectifier bridge would act as a high impedance. (unless the rectifier bridge is shorted).

It happen to me somehow .. Scientifically a mechanic once told me that if you've got a weakening battery the alternator will start charging some extra load causing it to burn out sooner or later.. With Aircond and some heavy curent load output from the amps and woofers, the regulator won't withstand it..
