E36 Advise Needed

Guys, Glad to inform u that my search for e36 is almost over. Of course the car needs some work and as soon as I conclude the deal I'm sending it to the workshop.(Details later) For now I have identified that the absorbers need to be replaced immediately. So do i go for : i) Bilsteien Black + Stock Springsii)Bilstein Black + Eibach Pro Kitiii) Bilstein Yellow + Eibach Pro Kit What are ur personal experience and would be the costs involved? More Qs to come. My work shall be divided as follows:- i) Inspection 2 + Replace All wear & Tear Parts(as required)ii) Repaint the cariii) 16 inch Rims & TyresIv) Replace Leather Budget RM10-15k

Well I finally got a 1995 E36 325i for RM40k+.

Reason I got it was it belonged to this old man(single owner) and had only done about 80k km. The car was a bit neglected as he has 5 cars and hardly uses the 325. Car needs to be repainted and shocks are all gone. Apart from that the car feels right. I was lucky to find the car. I put word to my friends that I was looking for a single owner, low mileage E36 325/328. A friend of mine told me that a neighbour of his had an E36 which was hardly used. He made an appointment for me to meet the owner, I took the car to Chu Seng who ok-ed it.We then struck a deal and walla its I've got exactly what I wanted. More details and pics of the car when its done.


I have always wanted a black Bimmer. What type of black is recommended

Also what is a fair price to respray the car (change color) using Glasurit quality paint?

well, depending on the painter. change colour can set you back from 3.5k to 4.5k.
