dear friends,help me.....my car problem give me headache...always overheating even water in radiator is full...i just change water pump and fan...still over heating....and today water coming out from radiator cap....what to do.....please help methanks

Your radiator is choke up.... try to send your radiator for flushing first

Dude,

It is impossible to own a BMW and not eventually be best friends with a workshop. If you don't know one, you'll find it tough going.

For a car this age and this model, overheating becomes common as the cooling system gets old. I replaced mine entirely just last year.

If you use the search function, you'll find lots of threads discussing workshops to go to and which ones to avoid.

i know one workshop...mechanic claim i need to do overhaul...have to change cylinder head and gasket....claim for RM4K....still searching for good mechanic can give good rate...

White smoke is not a good sign. It should be clear.

no lost power...everything is ok..only overheating.....

Does your water level keep going down? How often do you need to top up the coolant? That is usually a clue. The check coolant warning message will come on.

Have your previous mech bleed the cooling system properly

me also headache for 2 months for overheat problem. finally its just a fuse. but dont change with cheap fuse, the plastic cannot stand the heat. get the good one from BA just RM2 each.

cooling system is really a headache...but be calm..check your radiator whether choking or not..check thermostat..check water pump..check hose both upper and lower..check expansion tank..check bleeding point when topping up the tank..kalau semua ok..pergi bawak ke workshop minta dia buat pressure test..than check lube oil colour..kalau sudah ada discoloration sign of engine effected..then maybe top gasket...kaput..slight warping..kalau asap sudah putih..seriuos bro..
