E34 Angel Eyes

I've installed the angel eyes (Ah Wai's version). This is my verdict;
1) It's not totally round
2) The lights are in blue - not so bright
3) U need a GOOD glue to stick it. Mine doe not stick at all. Ended up sticking 'X' plaster to my headlights. Waaa .. look like racing car worr ...
But the most glaring problem is this;
Mine car is a CBU unit. If I switch on my headlites, the parking lite (the small bulb on top of the dip beam will be lighted. The headlites itself will also be lighted but at lower density prob at 6V). As for local model, only the parking lite will be lighted.
So, in my case, I dun really see the angel eyes for my dip beam. My high beam is fine.
U can change the LED from blue to white but u need to find the right size.
1 thing I dun like is that the angel eyes is place outside the lens, not inside as in E46, E36 or E39...
Just my 2 cents ...

if only it was as bright n as white as CCFLs....
then i wouldnt hesitate to get it man....

those angeleyes are available here from a company that specialises in
aftermarket OEM headlights for all type of cars..they are located in Kepong
The Angel eyes for E34 costs RM1800. They are willing to reduce if its a group buy. The last time I initiated it the response was not enough for the quantity needed for the discount. So who wants to initiate a group buy
as I cant bcos the guy was kind of pissed with me for FFK him last time.
You would probably have to renegotiate again.

The last time (abt a year ago) he was willing to go to Rm1600 for a Min. of 10 units, now like I said may have to renegotiate.
And this guy just bcos he is the only person who brought it in he is very 'Lansi'. His attitude is you want buylah want cheap go elsewhere lah.
They are a few places sellin this Angels Eyes as well but i found out they all take from the same fella. The last time Abundy said his friend can bring it directly from Taiwan and should be cheaper but up till now still nonews.
