E34 525i 12V - Auto Gear box Valve Body

Any of you sifus know where to get the Valve Body for my gearbox ? My foreman says that my valve body needs to be changed as the gear changes are not smooth and when the engine is cold, it takes a long time to change from 1st geat to 2nd gear. Once it changes, it's ok but just does not feel right. I did an overhaul of my gearbox somewhere in Feb this year but valve body was not changed. Pls help
