bro integra,not a really big problem though it seems like those 1jz does not have enough charge......

bro,shy your 1jz is sitting in a what car? half car or from an old supra ?

bro, i think this is 1jz in bmw sickness... your problem izzit alternator not charge when the car is idle or in low rpm, and battery power will run low if the car not start for 2-3day??

me and my friend also facing the problem... what i do is change to a biggest DIN55 battery(correct me if i m wrong) and drive the car for few km every 2,3day if i m not drive her and the problem seems solve kaka
 
i'm not sure it could be,thats why i'm driving it daily afterwork to get some wind.....=) and its very addictive.....lol.....how bout yourself did u convert yours too?

nah not really if go on holiday we could easily plug off the batt.....i think it should be ok....=)

mine is so far so good.... but turbine got problem... fuel consumption is very bad now(RM80 can go for 250km only last time is around 320km to 350km) arghh....

bro intergamania, if i go travel and leave her at home i will just past my car key to my brother, ask her start and drive the car to jogging abit, and is abit susah for me to unplugged the battery cable as my car battery is under the seat...:listen:
 
for ur sort of conversion...i got the perfect guy....no one u can find will do a better job than this guy....i've seen first hand this conversion done at his place and the end result was awesome...didnt miss the bmw engine at all! i don't have words to describe it...but i can confirm that you will be pleased...do msg me if ur interested.
 
wow thats bad.....i usually get approx 280-300 miles for a full tank with spirited driving......running with standard boost......

280-300 miles which me is about 500-540km rite, before the turbine kong kong d, RM80 i can go for 330-350km so mean about that lor, me too using standard boost... that the reason i leave her at home nowdays, and finding a turbine to change... if not really bleeding!!:stupid:

sorry to interupt but can ask a question about this jap engine conversion.
i heard nowadays cannot change name on the registration card if engine make different from car.
izit true ka..im planning to buy an e30 with sr20 engine but it seems cannot change ownership.
anyone got info on this law?

Yes, you can't transfer name if on the 'geran' already stamped 'tidak boleh pindahmilik'..but some car don't have the stamp (stamped by JPJ), so they still can transfer name..this happen when you change the engine to other make (Toyota etc...) It suppose to mean that only you can use the the car....:rolleyes: On how some car got no stamp 'tidak boleh pindahmilik' after converted to Japs engine, that I also don't know..:listen:
 
yea i get what u mean.....80 for 350 is like driving a standard evo....millage
in km it would be about 500,not more than that.......full tank of vpower approx rm 110-130,so u do the math.....=) if u are running twin 1jz you could get those single turbine from the vvti's,a lil mod on ur manifold that would be a better budget....and gain more....but if u are on a single turbine then maybe u can upgrade to a bigger size since u are changing it.....=)

bro bmwerks,there are some cases which u can change the tittle of the car this has to be done prior endorsement......msia boleh......=)

bro do you mind to share about how to mod from 1jz twin turbine(st12) to vvti's single turbine(izzit ST20)?? any of your fren did this before?? how's was it?? need to reset the computer or change any bigger injector or etc??and how much approx? TQ so much :top:
 
for the 1jz twin its ct12a,however for the vvti i'm not too sure,maybe its ct20b/ct26,so far none of them had done this yet.
but they recon to do so if i'm on a very budgeted basis,you can keep the stock injectors,but u'll need a piggy back here i suppose and some modifications from your existing 1jz TT manifold to accomadate the single turbine.

price wise not too sure a 2nd hand unit of turbine+modification might come to 1k++,the rest depends on market source.

Hello forumers,

I'm just joins this forum. Very interested when u all discussed about 1JZ engine conversion to E34. For information, I 'baru beli' E34 converted with 1JZ but until now not try the car yet because I send for minor modification. I want to ask, how the maintenance cost?

as far as things goes.....maintenance for engine is kinda cheap.....
what mods are you carrying out for the toyol....?

he he he.... ada le sikit2, msk rim sukan, spring sukan tambah skirting nak kasi toyol nampak handsome sikit!! Klau setakat gigi je yg tajam tapi x handsome, makna org nak gerun!!

so far i have added piggy back for SAFC / AVCR in my E34... normal city driving PJ and KL for RM100 can go about 400km-430km...

most of my friends are not playing with vvti into E36, E39 and E46 body... got 1 friend just bought 6 series old model to cover vvti...
