last friday nite... i went to a "hotspot" in KL to check out a certain "hot event".. i was on d highway on my rx7... u know, i saw 3 bimmers.. 2 e30 and 1 e34... d e34 just pulled away from me like hot knife on butter... i was like.. wtf? then i noticed i saw that car in GT Auto dyno-ing before... if i'm not mistaken, it dyno-ed in at late 200's bhp.. but 1JZ being 1JZ.. d way it pulled away from me was incredible.. then one of d bimmer recognized my big decals on d side.. and gave me a wave.. .. hehehe.. for a moment there i wanted to make a u-turn and bring the other car.. hehehe

roughly how much ah.. to buy 1JZ-GTE engine w/ manual gearbox and transplant inside E34? Including strengthening driveshaft, and labour for parts needed. Roughly total cost

There's one workshop in Puchong which has done 1 E34 and 1 Merc C-Class with 1JZ and 2 E32 with RB25DET... At least these are the ones I've seen done there... I like the work done on these cars. the engine bays all look very neat.

see pic. interior no change.. still using the merc shift gate... Just cover the Toyota logo on the cam cover and you'll won't know it's not a Merc engine if you're not car savvy...

Hi Black,

I'm in Tokyo now... probably we can meet up somewhere next week. as my car sleeping at home for about 1 month already...

so far running standard boost + Auto with E34... all my kaki having the same with me and the result of dyno at 1bar is about 240rwhp.

my friend are all crazy now and they are using E34, E36 and E46 for 1jz conversion... i was thinking getting E46 for vvti as well... but so far no money yet.

This car is definitely turbo...but if you interested for NA.... which is a good choice as well.

Just to help get some ideas ...... of other engine conversions with a more up todate engine models as the 1JZ are quite an old engine now ...... 1 Jz gte Vvti (Single turbo STD 280 bhp )is the updated version of the 1Jz GTE and so is the 2jz GE vvti ( NA engine with about 200 Bhp )and the bigger brother is the 2 Jz GTE vvti !!!( On paper its 280 Bhp twin Turbo --really its about 320 Bhp ).....

and is there anyone else here with a 1jz in their bmws other than tkk?

would also like to have some other ppl comments on this matter about the alternator charge....did the problem occur or not and how to settle it....

MY 1jz manual sadly waiting in my old car....still waiting for a cheap e34.really love the interior n exterior of e34..anyway can i use back jza70 2 way lsd diff/nanas?just wondering....
