well said dnhoh!.... like i was telling you.. i rather drive my old e28 or the e30 than my wife's e90!.... but no complaints to my e39 530i la.. sadly its goin soon to make way for the new car..
Haha! after reading all the comments above, I am mightly glad that I finally acquired my E30. Thanks to furummer Kar Heng for parting his luv.. I will take good care of her.
Seems like everyone here who once owned an e30 misses it terribly. And I'm no exception. I remember how much I loved how responsive the throttle was, and how it was just you, the machine and the road. There were no interferences from electronics.
I think the E30 is STILL one of the best looking BMWs around, and a pristine maintained E30 will be a real collector item in years to come. However, its hard to see pristine E30's these days on the road, as the cars have seen a lot of time, miles and abuse.
