My car is approaching its 2nd anniversary soon. Just got my mech to do my roadtax and insurance.Told him to insure my car for RM22k.May also need new tyres soon.A couple of options.....get 15in rims or stick to my 14in rims.If I stick to 14in rims and my current 195/60/14, what choices do I have and how much will it cost?I remember getting my present Turanza ER60 195/60/14 for RM180pp on Fabian's advise(in Autoworld's forum):-The E30 actually should be wearing 195/65/14 tyres as per the manufacturer's spec... But that tyre is nearly non-existent in our ASEAN market.... The closest match is the 195/60/14 or 185/65/14... These 2 tyres are of the same height. The 185/60/14 would be smaller in diameter and would make your donuts look undersized.... Not forgetting that your speedometer won't be displaying the correct speed. I got my Turanza ER60 195/60/14 for RM175 in Klang about 3 months ago... The 185/65/14 would be around RM160... The 185/60/14 would be less than RM150 due to the fact that it's a more common size... The iswaras and wiras and most other cars use this size as well... Of course Fabian has moved to 15in rims now. What do u guys think. I did a search on the forum and there wasnt a thread on this topic so I decided to start one., so pls feel free to share ur comments/experiences.PS What do u think about Michelin XM1?

anxious..

for 14", just get some good comfort tires. Options you have are :-

1) Michellin XM1
2) Turanza
3) BF Goodridge
4) Yokos

Personnelly, I would vote for Michellin. :)

Let me know when you have made the decision.

Regards
