E30 headlight not functioning

Hey guys...im having this problem with my E30. I have installed HID's in my car and apparently after a while the left side headlight will fail to turn on. This has happened for the second time already. The first time issue was fixed whereby there were some burnt wires the guy replaced...and i changed back to normal bulb. This time round, I reinstalled the HID and this time with a relay attached, fearing that the previous problem might be due to lack of power supply. Now the same problem happened again. What could be the problem ? Any advice from you all ?Many thanks!

check with the HID supplier, ask for installation requirements.

Thanks for the feedback mizhan. Apparently, it was a faulty ballast..so hopefully nothing else comes up after this =)
