Headlights Problem!

Greetings Guys!Been having this problem for a while now. Headlights go off after a while of driving and returns later. Very evident on the way back from JB, when they were going off & on in frequencies of between 2-3 minutes, like there was a timer!! Mind you, only the headlights and nothing else.Not a connection problem after checking. I suspect the relay box but yet to do thorough checking.Any of you guys ever had this problem?? Cheers!

Happened to me before. Its probably due to your LKM.

I have similar problem as well. Confirm is LKM. Get it changed for 2nd hand for about RM 250.00. Personal experience

You are in good hands. LKM it is!. The relays in there are failing, it overheats the returns. These things are not fixable as they are soldered to the board inside the LKM. Best to get a second hand LKM.

did the re-soldering thingy and VOILA! it works again! k:

dont know about getting a used LKM but there still would be a risk of even that one having loose points and may have to solder as well.

I suppose getting someone with good soldering skills would suffice and save some moolahs.............just my 2 kupang!
