Hey guys, i notice something about my e30.the meters on the inside are very dim when i turn the lights on.however for say two weeks it will be dim then one day suddenly when i turn on the lights, the meters inside are bright again.SLowly it will get dim after a few days..and after a while it gets back to normal again.very weird behavior.anyone experienced this before ? what you think is the problem ?

Ur main headlite switch is also a rotary switch for dimming.....check that. I hope u know this......

check your meter or trash the orange cap in the meter

Just to ask,how to get bright light of meter instrument panel (red light)??? Now become dim lor...

Don't know if its true, was told change the control dimmer switch where you on the head light cost around 100 plus new.

heyya dudes
my prob last time was my left side of the panel would light up slower. and in the end it never lit up..burnt i reckon.
back to ur question, the light bulbs for the panel has specific voltage.i think its 3V...sifus pls kindly correct me.
each bulb costs rm10/pcs thats whut my mech charged.

hope this helps.
cheers

Rastaman, do you know how to dismantle the instrument cluster? If you do, than better for you to dismantle it and count the bulb behind it cause different spec have different number of bulb (indicator bulb). However, i bought the bulb from Auto Bavaria PJ for RM6 per bulb only.
