E 30 RPM not working

Dear all,Would like to seek some advice on none funtioning RPM,here is what happen, it has been ok only tonight i start the car and notice that the rpm is not funtioning.nothing has been done before this,only change engine oil.Please advice as to where can i locate the problem and how can i trouble shoot for any loose cable or etc.

check the connection of the bunch of wires underneath the floor carpet of front passenger.

one of the sifus could better explain why. tachometer on my car started working again after the mechanic checked the connection of bunch of wires there..

just to inform the rpm is now working, dont know why, but the economy meter below the km now is not working?

Any advice from here.

hi..

as for my knowledge...

RPM meter: signal from crank sensor--> ecu--> rpm(tachometer) meter.
Eco meter: signal from crank sensor & vehiclespeed sensoe(vss) from rear diff --> ecu --> economy meter.

hope this litte bit help u to find diagnos the prob.

RPM meter fail on me again, really dont know what is the main problem.
