anyway i'm q sure maintaining ordinary e46 is not as high as msport coupe.
most of parts are available, unlike for Ci, even ori absorbers have to order.
boge absorbers for is only rm235 each if not mistaken compared to msport
coupe abut rm1200 each ( rear absorbers ) and rm1800 ea. for front.
so much difference in price. and even alternator the one for Ci is differn.
i think e39 or even e46 1.9 (N43) less cost in maintenance.

abuhasan, tot all the parts are the same except for the body only.. hehehe.. tq,new knowledge for me.

safuan, when ordering parts chassis/parts series numbers are always used as reference.
always go for bmw specialist and maintain it.

by the way, what is your guys mileage ? as i'm planning to get a 2002-2004 325i also.. most of the ride mileage around 100k.

now worries me whether those seller selling because of heavy maintenance coming soon. that's maybe reason for sales...

Tkk: After reading the forums a while, you do pick up that certain wear and tear parts give way after certain mileage or number of years. Not sure if anyone compiled such a list but it'll be great resource! I'll see if I can start one up.

I think BMWs are made to last around 10 years only so you can expect parts to start giving way from year 8 or so.

FYI my 325i 2001 mileage was 143,800km when i got it :)
