Double Din in an E34 ..?

I have been thinking getting one of those smart and fancy aftermarket double-din DVD/USB/CD/Ipod player etc etc thingy that also comes with built in GPS and reverse sensor camera.Saw one in my friends Camry but of course the retrofitting is easier cos it is a current model and all the appropriate template is provided plus a wiring diagram too!Has any member here done this upgrade/retrofit in their E34?Please share..I googled and found the 2 images below...Of course single din with motorised screen is an option as in image 2.I think this is a COOL upgrade for E34!

I always have a thought that if we could modify the upper air-con vent (big, facing the wind shield) to accommodate a big touch screen...
