does all model of E39 525i have angel eye adjuster ?

Hi all,sorry its me again..i am curious whether does all model of E39 525i have angel eye adjuster ?i have seen this unit and i cant seem to find the adjuster button to adjust the up/low of the angel eye..may i know where does the angel eye adjuster button is at ? picture will be appreciated..

because the seller told me his unit unable to adjust manually, when the car start up it will auto adjust itself..got such thing?

Just drive the car to well known mechanic and let the mechanic tell u the true..

Yes, there are 2 variation for the headlamp.

1. With dial where you adjust the headlamp due to number of passengers.

2. The other is auto levelling. The headlamp will auto adjust itself..

You are right about E39.. I was referring the headlamp for BMW that have this feature like E46..

my E36 have the dial knob and my E46 have auto levelling.

Auto levelling can be checked when you ON the light and start the engine. The light will shine DOWN first and then it will shine UP and then it will find the best level..

No, if you have the dial beside the light switch, then it is NOT auto level.

yours is start from DOWN and UP.. The UP motion and height is compare to the servo setting of the dial on the dashboard.

Mine is down and all the way UP and then down to the best level.
