Hi all,January this year, i send over my car to FITZ Ultimate Garage whereby recommendation by Mandonna as there are a specialist with gearbox problem. So i send my car to there, hopefully they can resolve my car.At 1st, he said it is confirmed my Auto transmission need to be replace. So i was replace after the advise, who know after I replaced my gearbox. The mechanic (Fitri) said the gearbox was tested work fine condition, but unable to have long test due to my tire problem. So after the advise, I quickly change the Sport rims so he can test it even longer. After a week, as the auto transmission warranty is going to expired, i ask the mechanic to check again. He replied, "I tested confirmed is good condition, and if failed after this I will bare the cost." After that I'm going to take my car since it worked, he admit said the car failed to start again. This time was advise to change the DME, few week ago the correct and same DME was found. After replacement, he said the engine not so smooth. He advise me to do the major services, so I followed and change the wear and tear item out. After week by week he said he got no time for touching my car. Few month ago, I started to be impatient already and chase him to rush up for me. Yeah... he did... after 2 week after sound, he said the car can be taken already. But once I reached his shop, he said the gear can't change... it like Limp home mode... and advise me change the auto transmission again~! So i fucked up with him since he promised me if problem later he will bare the responsibility. But no, he try to push this and that until i fed-up! This time i planed to change to manual transmission.Who know he doesn't bother me, and i find myself until i get the item from his side mechanic... I paid for the transmission, and I plan to transplant it. Who know his mechanic run away. I started jam the project till now (1-2 month later), and today I came back to see my baby just hope my baby will give me some hope to make it happen again. Who know today about 7pm, i reached the shop. The shop was closed far early than previously. So I doesn't bother, i go check my car. Who know.... OH GOD!!! My car interior all gone! My rim gone!! my disc brake gone!!! So in panic, i go call the owner immediately. Who know the number i called, saying the number is not in service any-more! Thanks god for me that I found my seat was at another car, my air-cond controller also at another car! Therefore I strongly believe he stolen my part and sell to others customer without acknowledge me...So quickly went to police department and make the police statement, tomorrow I'm plan to bring it court to settle my case! See how tomorrow the out come~Please remind yourself, your friend and any relationship to BAN to entering this shop again!! Seriously sad when saw this happened to me!!!
Do not send your belove car to FITZ ULTIMATE GARAGE anymore!!!

sorry to hear that, as a bimmer owner, one has to vary of so called specialists...once you know you car has issues after fixing best get a 2nd opinion. Even before fixing best to get a 2nd opinion. Never leave the car more than a day at a workshop that you do not even know.
Btw, do check out Mandonna seem to be selling stuff on mudah.com. Could this be the same person? Just my 2 cents.
Hope you bring them to justice and recover ur baby.

Sorry to hear that such ruthless people still exist and offering public service...its some real car service shop, somehow escaped from hell...probably one of the situations where is not worth to waste even baseball bat for sake of personal satisfaction, on such person..i hope things will work out for you man..

Bro very sorry to hear what happen to you. Make sure no matter what the police report is done and take him to court no matter what. This kind of %#$@s cant be allowed to walk away free for nothing. Also you must proceed to contact Madonna no matter what happens, at least he owes you an explanation for recommending you to the workshop in the first place. :cheers:
After visit the shop again this morning, I was talked to owner (Fitri). He was act like nothing... What the xxxx....
Okay... I just want my thing back in order, so i still talk nicely to him. He promised will swap back everything after this Raya Haji. Hopefully as he promised... Btw, I still not believe he will done as he promised. Time will reveal everything....

Many reasonable advises above. Bringing them to court or consumer tribunal is the last thing I would do because it takes too much hassle, foot works and u may get back a piece of total lemon with potential sabotage of other parts which can be a ticking time bomb.
Before I part with my moolah, especially a big chunk, I would always seek 2nd opinion and never let one item spread to another unless at negligible cost. It's never too late to seek 2nd opinion. In fact you can just pay RM150 to Wearnes, they can diagnose your car and tell you exactly what's wrong with a list of items and jobs to be done.
I recently recommended a fellow OM to my friend's tyre shop to get new tyres which I later found out he was charged an exorbitant price for an alignment job.. I also damn malu.
I never trust workshops.. never let down your guard because they are after every penny in your pocket, or all the credit limits available in your credit card.

What has tyre problem got to do with gearbox testing? Is it so difficult for the workshop in installing temporary good condition wheels just to test the gearbox? Very fishy!

You should have driven to car to another workshop to seek 2nd opinion on the gearbox. What's wrong with your tyres and rims?

This is what I would do.. If you can afford the bill, cut lost. Pay them and remove your things even if in bits and pieces, I would imagine all are faulty parts, the good one has already been swap and sold to another customer. If they slap you with a hefty bill that can cost you an arm or/and a leg, go to consumer tribunal and hope GOD has mercy on you.
