Hi all,I would like to share my Dice Silverline Pro installation done two weeks ago. For those who doesn't have any idea what Dice Silverline Pro is, here's a short introduction. Dice electronic is the company that produces Silverline Pro which is an interface for iPod/iPhone to connect to our BMW head unit. The kit connects to the head unit through the cd changer IBUS interface, so this kit will require you to disconnect your cd changer. The kit will let you view track info and browse your collection from the head unit or the iPod itself, use steering control to skip tracks and charges your device.More info here : http://diceelectronics.com/bmw.htmlBefore I start, here are some info regarding the car and the kit.Car: E46 sedan, wired for CD changer, Philips BMW business cassette head unitKit: DICE Silverline PRO, trunk interface $149.99Note: Try this at your own risk, I would not be responsible for any loss caused by following these installation steps. Please take all necessary precautions when doing your installation. The kit

- Unlock the car, eject CD changer cartridge if necessary and disconnect negative battery terminal- Do everything that is necessary to remove panel covering the CD changer, in the trunk to your left- Remove layer behind rear seats- Remove rear seat by tugging the upper side (close to headrest) towards the front of the car at both sides- Remove glovebox compartment by undoing six screws - I think - around it, 3 on top, 2 on the left and 1 on the right- Disconnect cable that connects to CD changer (I took the changer out to ease the process) and connect them to the Dice kit cable. The socket can only go in one way- Route the cable from the trunk to the front through a hole which was blocked by the rear seat previously- Route the cable underneath the door lining towards the gloveboxPlace the box at a secure location

Bro Aidil, can u tell me where to purchase this. Plus, im gonna need an installer for this.

Hi Greene, you can definitely get it from ebay , when buying make sure it is for BMW e46 since this kit is available for a lot of other makes and models. If you're not comfortable with ebay, you can try umnitza (umnitza.com), eas (europeanautosource.com), jlevistreetwerks.com or bsw (bavariansoundwerks.com). I got mine from umnitza and don't know if we can source the kit locally.

About the installation, most of the people who buy the dice kit install it themself and there are tons of guides and videos online on it. Do your research and you will be comfortable of doing it yourself afterwards.
