Hi All,Re the title, are there many owners of this variant? I have been reading this forum and seems that most people either has a 318,325 or 328 and not much of the 320. Reason I am asking is that I would be viewing a 320 this weekend...year 92 iirc. Just wondering about the engine parts for 320. Would that be compatible with the rest? stuff like radiator and such. Appreciate some feedback. Thanks :top:

Hey Prinze,
engine parts FROM WHAT I THINK shouldn't be much of a problem as it has the same M50B20 engine as the 520i...however, as the car you're viewing is a '92 model then check if it has VANOS (M50TUB20 engine) or not...

Tom, how do I check whether it is Vanos or not by looking at the engine? are there any tell tal sign that? just in case the owner also don't know..

With VANOS. Flat if without it.

Roger that. So I guess all interior and exterior would have not difference right?

I believe 93+ starting to have Vanos.
So, the later car might have some updates too.
How hardcore are you ? if you intend to ForceInduction it, without Vanos is just fine too.

That's a tad too hardcore force feeding!:top: But i think the 320 should be enough. I am on a lookout for either 318/320 manual. seems really hard to come by. really tempted to just get an auto one and convert!

:) good luck finding one. Is not easy but well worth it.
I am driving a 325i manual. Ori. M-tech too. ;)
