Danggling connector in ECU compartment

Guys,Do anybody know what this dangling item in the ECU compartment for? I did my own check on the ECU compartment today and found this... I guess my mechanic forgot to put it back.... sigh.... where should this thing go?

well that sure looks like temp sensor which has been plugged into the socket. without that there should be a flag raise i suppose.

tropos, very funny that no error came out... but thing thing shouldnt be danggling i guess... it should go into somewhere..
