WTF, another round of price increase for BMW. Just received call from salesguy, 523i was RM355K, now RM359K. But BMW throw in the 3 year service inclusive package. Do you think is worth it?To be honest, this BMW is gonna be my weekend car, what can i expect to change in 3 years' time? i mean less usage less wear and tear. So, for me the service inclusive is not fully utilised. Or do they just change the parts when the time comes regardless whether the parts are still relatively new?CBU 325i now at RM327K... RM9.8K increased from RM318K. This should be normal i guess considering that the CKD 325i should be priced around RM310K-RM315K.

355 increase to 4k. with 3 yrs service inclusive. actually no increase ma.

4k for maintenance over 3yrs is a steal le..

HAHAHAHA :D Looks like what I predicted was true afterall. "Free" maintenance and repair my a@&e. :getyourfactsright:

I ordered my 525i M-Sport just abit ago at RM418K.

So now he told me the updated is RM4800 more than my RM418K but it includes 3 years maintenance free and service.

It also extends my warranty from 2years to 3 years.

I figured that with my E46 back in 2000, the first oil change already costed me almost 1k.. Presumably 1 oil change a year, 3 years = 3k..

Not counting anything else that breaks and that the oil change for the E60 could be even more costly than it is for my E46 back in 2000.

So i opted to add the Rm4800 ontop of my 418k.. ;)

I think its a good deal

Ya man, way to go , silver grey....

BMW Service Inclusive

just to double check with the service inclusive thingy...call up the dealer today and ask about this. And was told the warranty for the my car is still 2 years even if i opted for the service inclusive which says 3 yr/ 60K mileage.
service inclusive programme only take car of the few particular items as per the manual.

i'm doubtful if you say the car warranty is extended to 3 years....

clarifications pls...

maverick00,

When did u ordered ur and when did u get it? i am supposed to get my as same colour as yours...... but still waiting.... running out of steam already....... somebody helps

I am skeptical as well but he mentioned it and i am repeating it.

Nevertheless, in that extra year, id be more happy with my maintenance free than having warranty because really, anything that goes then is really hard to fault to either driver or manufacturer anyways.

The maintenance free thing in a way helps to reduce the cost of ownership for a BMW because you dont have to worry about needing to fork out alot everytime your BMW goes in for something and you can spread the cost of ownership over your instalment period. The 5000 extra over your 5 or 6year instalment period etc.
:)

Sigh.. the things i do to buy a BMW.

Forever owing the bank
