Straighten - RM50 per wheel
Paint and machine lip - RM70 per wheel
That's for 15". Price wise it's a little bit on the high side but the quality is there.

The shop is located nearby AB Segambut. Lets say AB Segambut is on your right; you go straight and go through a curve. Go straight a little bit more and you will see a tire shop with Falken signboard. That's the shop.

sent mine - 17" m5 replicas last saturday and they quoted :

for repairing bent and curbed rim - rm70/piece
to refurbish and repaint a set of 4 - rm350

my total - rm600....rm30 discount...is this price ok?

he says the rims will look brand new.curb rashes will be filled with putty and not weld.taking it home this saturday....we'll see:love:

Dun forget to post picture...see how it look like after refurbished

dear moots at rm600 i think it is slightly above market price base on my recent survey but IMHO price is not important but quality is. think of the troubles you've to go through just to send the rims for repair. just make sure they do a good job if not screw them and ask them to redo it again until u're satisfied. this is what u shud get by paying a premium.

i've a set of 18" rims which need to be refurbished and most likely i'll send them to hup soon, after hearing your comments off course. your m5 rims are relatively difficult to be repainted due to the thin spokes so they're real experts if they can do a good job. i was quoted by a few tyre shops at RM380 total for refurbishing of my set of rims and honestly i just dont have the confidence to do it at that price. so, let us hear from you soon & good luck...

Does anyone know whether Heap Soon in Seganbut be able to refit our Run Flats after refurbishing our rims? I heard that Run Flats need a special machine to re-fit the tyres.

JPB has done it a few times for his car there. However, due to multiple mounts and unmounts of the RFTs and its super stiff sidewalls, it started to crack and leak on the sidewalls last I heard from him.

Heard from a fanatique that theres a more eco alternative in Subang New Village, just drive in the morn and wait till they weld, machine, lathe and spray. All for less then RM400 for 4 rims or even less..... Ripleys belive it ornot? Will post venue when I get there to tokkok wif owner to discount for club members/forumaz.....dont anybody pecah lobang!!!

thanks for posting the pics moots...it looks a bit grainy from the photos is it the paint or the camera? anyway congrats on the good job & i'll be sendin my rims to the same shop soon

checked my ori style 124 rims into heap soon segambut today...not a very convincing venue but went ahead due to strong recommendations from member forumers. 3 rims were wobbling which they charge 80 ea to fix + 500 to paint all 4 so total is RM740! now i really hope they do a good job or i will sandblast them in & out...will keep u guys updated

Wahhhh damn expensive la. If the wheels is not up to your expectation please call me along to sandblast them ok.

ok got the rims today, overall i'm quite satisfied...wish i could say 'they look like brand new' but they dont. new rims r 100% perfect but properly refurbished rims can only be 95% at most. they sure feel like new rims though after 3 crooked ones have been fixed...no more vibration. would say its worth the rm740 spent... if u found a set of used rims for good deal, this is the 1st thing u shud do to it...but if u're perfectionist (or loaded), just go for brand new rims

Just to share my experience guys... few months after refurbishing my rims, i decided to wash with rim cleaner cos i was lazy and thought that it would help clean the grim at the tight angles.. So i happily sprayed the rims with the cleaner and as i was wiping off the grim & dirt, i realised that the bl**dy cleaner has corroded thru the paint!! the harder i wiped, the more the paint got destroyed.. So, it looks like i'll have to refurbish my rims again.. Just be cautious guys..

hi bro, in total how many days did it take? were you given a replacement rim during the course?

Much Thx :top:

Sure they can repair badly chipped wheel. They will weld it back but it won't be cheap.

you should go sandblast the guys who refurbished your rims and get them to redo it for free. i've seen worse cases of refurbished rims where even brake dust can stain the clear coat. anyway i wouldn't dare to use anything other than shampoo n water to clean my refurbished wheels :)

ess530i...normally afta repair the rims that are damaged the probablity of it getting damaged again on the same spot is very high...that is wat i have been experiencing on type 135 rims...always on the same spot...i suspect it become soft afta some heated rolling and knocking from the repair procedures...

guys, i'm new here... are your rims looks like new after repair?? cos one of my rim also scratched when i was driving into the curve's car park... heart so pain everytime i saw my rim... haizz... and i can't affort to buy a new set... by the way, my rims are 18" that came original with 525 m-sport...

Almost like new. The below pic is the result
