Got a problem with my E60. First, realised that my iDrive goes blank intermittently but all the functions (radio, bluetooth etc.) still work. This is followed by the iDrive prompting an error saying that it has detected a fast discharge rate from my battery.
Since my battery is under warranty, I sent the car back to a BMW authorised service centre . After a few days of checking, they told me that they detected a current leakage and traced it back to the CIC. Thus, they gave an estimated price for the CIC and the CID which is quite high.
Hope you guys can give your inputs on this. Also, any idea where I can buy a used CIC or fix my current one?
