He is excellent. The guy's name is Naidu. He just replaced the cooling coil on my car. Did an excellent job. Very nice guy.

Can't quite recall the exact amount but it was in the region of RM 1,500-1,800

is it normal to topup gas once a year? or is it leaking?

I think it's leaking, topping up yearly is not normal.

one small fan inside the hvac unit is spinning 24/7..is that normal?

Not normal, it should stop spinning after your car goes to sleep in approximately 16 mins. Mine was spinning loud non stop, took it out to for some clean up does not help and it has been draining my battery despite replacing the HVAC resister module (hedgehog). End up changing to another HVAC control panel and it was fine.

finally, after weeks of headache..my understanding of e39 ihka has improved

1. the his/her temperature will only work when the stratified air dial is set less than 3 blue dots

2. footwell is hot and passenger is cold. this happened when the ihka control unit senses the cold air and thinks that it is too cold. to balance out, hot air will be blown through the footwell if you switch it on.

most of the research is done using my old blower unit..hehe
