window ventillation

Hello seniors,
I have a 05 525 and the front window ventillation air can turn one side hot(passenger side)and the other side cold. The main air con for both side remain cold. The hot air is intermitent and switching off and on will make the cold air kick in. Playing with the auto air con will have window ventilation to blow hot air on both side while the main air con remain cold. Is this normal or is any of my parts spoilt? Any seniors out there who can enlighten me?

do you mean the side air vents and the center air vents?
i assume so.you need to have the water valve(located in engine bay LH strut tower)checked....

Yea.. its the side and the center. But the driver side window ventilation has not been hot before. Only the passenger side. Maybe i will try topping up gas and see if it solve the problem.

I believe that there are 6 actuators that open and close the hot/cold air supplies to the vents. It is possible that one or more of these has failed/stuck. A reading by a diagnostic PC should identify if there is a problem with these.
