Final decision is on the moderating team. You may appeal and give reasons but moderating team
still makes the final decision.

No explanation should be expected when a thread is deleted as we may have our reasons,

All replies made by members in the classifieds section which are not in anyway related to the topic will be deleted.

If the reply does not answer the question put forward by someone it will be deleted.

If the reply is not about the item for sale it will be deleted.

Contact number should be posted.

Nonsense replies will also be deleted and hijacked replies will also be deleted.

If there is a constructive discussion about the item for sale it will not be deleted.

Criticism on seller will not be tolerated, hence the reply will be deleted.

All in all, keep your fingers to yourself unless you are genuinely interested in the item.

With respect to the above guidelines, clarifications from the seller is necessary as to who is the owner of the car.

This forum does not allow commercial postings. Postings for sale will be considered as commercial postings if the car/item does not belong to the seller/poster. Exceptions can be made if the car/item belongs to the immediate family of the seller/poster.

In addition, oostings from sellers/posters who are newly registered will be presumed to be commercial postings. New forum members should introduce themselves to the community in the Newbies section using the prescribed format.

All commercial postings will be locked pending further clarification. Please PM the moderator with 24 hours or the post will be deleted without further notification.

Revised Classifieds Rules

Of the late there have been a great influx of commercial advertisements and forumers (old and new) have been trying to post for sale many items. The Forum Administrator, the Committee, and the Moderators have been concerned at the integrity and credentials of some of these sellers, leading to a paternalistic approach taken to try and protect from harm our BMW Club lace forumers.

However, the community is growing by leaps and bounds, which is wonderful for everyone here because it means more friends, more leads to knowledge and parts for the fraternity. It also means that it is becoming harder and harder to extend the same amount of care to the forumers. The Forum Administrator, the Committee and the Moderators now believe that forumers are able to practise effectively the principles of Caveat Emptor, i.e. “Buyers Beware.”

Hence, the Forum Administrator, the Committee and the Moderators have deliberated and have decided to open up the use of the Classifieds for postings for cars and other items, as long as it is legal to sell the Item, is BMW or car-related and is not otherwise an abuse of the other forum rules.

The Forum Administrator, the Committee and the Moderators will still continue to monitor the postings and review the rules from time to time.

As always, the BMW Club and the Forum, in no event, will not be liable for any financial loss or any special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the usage of the Classifieds section of this forum. Please exercise caution when trading in the Classifieds.
