If you want to repair your OBC, you'd have to dismantle the unit, then replace the foam that presses the circuit to the LCD. The main reason the display goes off, in my case anyway is of parking the car in the sun where the foam looses mass. So by replacing the foam you solve that problem. Alternatively, I have a spare one that you can have for a token...
