Cheap Survey for Scratches

Guys,Have you all heard of workshop called "Cheap Survey"? I bumped in to a gentleman yesterday while changing tyres in Sunway and he suggested to bring my car to mend the scratches in the above shop. It seems they can fill up the scratch lines so well as per the ori paint color and it cost way cheaper than painting all over or painting the overall scratched areas.It seems it is an international company with branches in a few places in KL yet haven't heard of that before. In fact they will come over to the house and do up the job in a day time. Am going to check out the location in Batu Caves tomorrow but wondering if anyone has come across this before. Thanks.

I think that you are reffering to "Chips Away"...........anyhow, the only way to remove stone chips and scratches is to respray the entire panel. There are no shortcuts.


I have seen their work. It is only a temporary solution which is "nice from far, far from nice" Hope this helps.

I think you are right about the name. Both names heard the same way on my ears. Anyway going to check them out and see the outcome.

Checked out the Chips Away shop...it's all the same for any deep scratch...got to repaint...he quoted rm1600 for 2K paint all over the body (outside only) excluding roof as there is no scratch. RM1800 including roof. Duration - 5 days

Another guy I checked out in subang quoted me rm2400 fully external...he says he is using high quality "pgb" stuff and what not...Duration - 10-14 days.

Any advice from the knowledgable ones??? I am thinking to send for painting next monday....
