RX8, did you replaced it with JFA DP or full exhaust? Cause supergripen mentioned full JFA built setup. Didn't know that they can tune exhaust note. How they do that? I thought exhaust note depends on different muffler, downpipe, how many inches etc?

So far some BMW I came across in Sunway, their exhaust are loud. But when I go near to see their exhaust tip. No name on it. Well, some I know is REMUS cause it's stated there.

The guy who recommended me the UR DP bought it from Boss (in sg). And it's pretty pricey. Direct import would be cheaper (but tax ??).

I would be interested in checking out the JFA option... I'm looking for power with as little increase in noise as possible.... I've suffered long enough on the long nshwy runs ! Am already half deaf...

Rx8, are you on any tuning options ? Or stock ecu ? I would be interested to see how they overcome the cel if you are on stock ecu. Did they fix a o2 simulator ? Months without cel on stock ecu with catless dp is interesting.

Is the JFA dp a local manufacture ? or ? Got to check them out !
 
I have a full jfa exhaust setup from dps 2 back box, n zero complaints, shld not cost more then 4k i think. Very gd value n no check light till now after more then 6 months of usage. They also did my intercooler 4 around 3k, which is not that good, n 4 an extra 1k, u r better off getting frm motorsport div, theirs cost abt 4k. I have jb3 running map 7, bms dci, water meth, which is a recommended mod imo as it helps cool yr very hot engine on longer spirited runs nincreases d octane on our cars, n can b turned off when ever u want. I now swear by our primax 95, n after my switch from shell v power racing, has nener thrown a check light. Still have not repaired my wastegate rattle which is most obvious on cold starts, but does not appear 2 affect engine performance.I reckon i can do a below 15 second 0 to 200kmh run.

Thanx for sharing this bro.. I normally bring stuff back from the US myself but bringing back an exhaust system is pretty daunting due to it's size lengthwise.
Good to know that u can get a decent setup locally.

E92i - you are free to meet up with us and check out each of our setup, we all have very different setups. Also, we havent had a e92 gathering in awhile....

Rx8 or anyone else, can PM me the address or tel no for JFA ? I just looked in the internet yellow pages but no result for JFA. I've been hearing good things about JFA in various forums but never been there.

I would say JFA is okay. Deal with them once when I changed my exhaust setup on my S204.

First time playing Continental. I always thought only JDM play customize exhaust. And Conti is more towards branded exhaust. Like Ultimate Racing, REMUS, Eisamann etc etc.

So if I walk in and tell them full JFA exhaust setup for E92. I will get the same thing? Or there are various options?
