Maybe you can try to step on the throttle and then start the car...

If you can start/barely start and die immediately, kompom its fuel pump.

yeah it happens to me lately and get mine replaced too.

You can try to conk ur fuel tank (which is under the passenger seat). Sometimes it might help to get the pump working again, which you can then drive to mechanic. Happened to me once too, but in a worse situation (i.e. outside the house and at night). Lucky Ah Meng came over and fixed it for me.

bro, didnt know your car cannot start due to pump. thought your fuel tank did not equalize only.
