Car can't start with air-con switch on.

Greetings,I have this problem with my E28. Previously I can start the car even with air-con, cassete player, lamp etc all open .... but now I have to switch off everything before starting the car.The thing is, I accidentally bang into another car, actually just the bumper of the car, no sweat at all ... both car suffered no injury ... but suddenly I can't start with air-con turn on ... I feel so weird about it.Please do tell me why ...regards,maelzx

Check 2 things first. Condition of your battery and also the alternator. Maybe the alternator is worn out. THus not fully able to charge your battery.

Sounds like u got some loose eathing connection...it's on the far left
in the front...check ur battery terminals too.

thanks for you reply. i will check it ... i think maybe u're right ... the alternator might worn out .. i'll have my mechanic to check it for me (me noobies ... donno anything. will learn though )
