Need to seek fast advice from sifu.
My car E46 320I.
Just now I tried plugging in a Bluetooth dongle (bmwhat alike dongle) to test using carly app on my phone. I did try the dongle before on my old phone and has no problem, so tonight would like to try the app on my new phone.
When plug in the dongle ,the app ask me to start the engine and when I turn the key on, the engine fail to crank & start, retry several time still fail. Everytime I crank it it'll have 'tak..tak...tak' sound , cabin light keep blinking when turn the key at on position.

Anyone having this experience before? Possible what went wrong?

Checked it,it's 12.3v.
Google around the symptom, seems weak battery. I do hope it's battery, not due to the obd dongle causing ecu or wiring issue.

"'tak..tak...tak' sound , cabin light keep blinking when turn the key at on position" --> typical weak battery symptom

Actually I immediately remove the dongle once it failed to start, but situation still the same.
My first response never thought it'll be battery since the car was driving for the pass 20mins then only stopped when I reached home. I inserted the OBD dongle after the car stop for 1-2mins then car fail to start.
Well, since still at office working now, can only return home in the afternoon to do the verification.
First will confirm whether is it battery issue (since it's the easiest troubleshooting way), wish it's the culprit, else..... :(

Jump start the car with a good jumper to start the car.

check for loose terminals at the battery.

Ok,problem solved. It's dead battery :)
Seems like I plugged the Bluetooth dongle at the wrong timing ,ha....Ha....

bro KW930, try pluggin in the Bluetooth now and see if car can be restarted? It should if it was battery problem. hahaha. I have a Bluetooth dongle as well but now no confidence to plug that bugger in the OBD.
