Car Assessment , Where To?

Hi guys,I have chosen a BMW that i :love:, and now i am planning to bring the car for an assessment. I tried searching the forum, but i couldnt find any info (or am i searching wrongly) , so let me throw this question out:1. Where should i bring the car for an assessment? and what is a reasonable quote for this?2. I read something about GT1 or something like that that needs to be scanned. Where can i get it done. Sorry if i get this wrong, noobie here3. What should i be on lookout for during the car assessment? If you can point any internal link on this topic, kindly put it up here in your reply. That way i can learn, and you can show me how better you're at searching in this forum :wink:Thanks guys for reading this. alot of BMW workshop have inspection service with GT1, price usually range from 150-200. u can try stuggart or M-Performance in taman mayang, PJ or M-Speed as mention by jasonnn. google it, i believe u can get their contacts. PM me for their contact if you really cant find it, i will try to help

bro, why dont you go to this thread 'BMW Tech and Performance'. There is few sticky thread talks about 'workshop we go','list of good workshop', etc. Based on forumer posting, just pick and choose any workshop suit your need

Wah! RM200 ka? I think get it done at SC cheaper la.. why not ring up the SC to find out first?? I am not surprised there's workshop out there charging more expensive than SC thinking we're LULU..

i did assessment for 3 cars at m-speed for free prior to my purchase. salute to ah meng

I think i will check on Ah Meng and get a second opinion in a friends uncle shop in segambut. Looks like a lotta work, but i think the bmw will be worth it.
