hi guys. been experiencing this for more than a week now. when the car is cold, or been idle for a couple of hours, the car will sputter and bog after about a couple of minutes drive. its like the car is suddenly running very rich. the car will be trying to maintain idle, but might die off sometimes. but after about 30 seconds, the car is back to normal, but still feels very rich. i've changed the cam sensors, water temp sensor, coolant temp sensor. plugs are fine, not wet or anything. i've recently had the injectors cleaned, no probs with them. fuel pump is fine, fuel filter is still new. icv and AFM cleaned and checked, no probls. spark plugs boot changed few months back. anyone got a clue....

You seem to have considered almost everything that can caused the problem.

However, have you considered the High Tension Cables for the Ignition?
You can check this with a long expose screwdriver with insulated handle. Put the metal (expose) near the cable and the end of the screwdriver very near the body of the engine. If there are tiny spark, you cable are faulty.

Good Luck.

thanks jarance. never tot of the cables, but will give it a shot. will try changing the knock sensors also.

cheers

btw, check also the vacuum hoses as well as this sometimes also cause very rich mixture..
