no dude....i have E60 already in the garrage so not going to get bmw convertible. this e250 cabriolet are meant for my fiancee as a supprise gift to her too. she's not aware im getting it for her...so nope...i wont be getting E93

Only advise i can think of is, if you can to buy any recond car to check the chassis number with the relevant carmaker to make sure everything is what the dealer say like year of manufacture and such.

googled for you this one don't know if it works.

Another thing to look out for is to check if the roof would leak when it rains, how to check that? don't know sorry... maybe bring your own mechanic/specialist to look over the car?

Ok, now with all the advise i gave can i add.. why la?? with that money you can buy an e93 335i wife happy and you would be happy! or a older 6 series cabriolet or a z4 or m3 cabriolet. the e250 is just a turbochaged 1.8l four cylinder... jangan marah ya sini semua bmw fans!!!:wink::wink::wink::wink:

Haven't any experience with cabriolets, so was just reading thru ur thread..

Best of luck for your viewing & eventual purchase. But always take whatever the salesman says with a pinch of salt, back it up w receipts or signed agreements, otherwise they will just turn around after closing the sale..I think other members here have weighed in with their advice..

wah bro...thanks for that helpful link and advice. ehhh....well what to do since my fiancee love the e250 cab more than 6-er. she do not know i be getting it for her as she told me she's all over for the e250 coz of its new look as she said its cool. i love cabriolet but always skeptical of getting one coz worry and scared about leaking or sound issues when on high speed.

i dont know about conti's cabrio, but i have a member who drives a MX5. he said, just maintain like a normal car, but with only 1 thing that worry him most, which is the hardtop mechanism. when it fails, then $$$.

Yup, that and the fabric roof and rubber linings. If tin roof, at least one less problem.
