I think is part no 1 , cos it's a rubber that seal the whole door in 1 cycle, not only the windows.

If you're talking about part number 4 (window seal, door seam) then I can tell you the price for the part is only RM200 :) The rest on what you're paying is the labor so you decide if it's worth it.

Normally I check in realoem for parts. You just have to type in your VIN and all the details will appear accordingly :)

Just a question, do we need to change the disc everytime we change the pads? Mine is now left with 1200kms to go and just got the buzzer for my rear pads. anybody has experience using OEM brembo pads, as original BMW is twice the price. Plse advise

You don't necessarily have to change the disc every time you change the pads. It really depends on the condition of your disc. If you touch it with your fingers, you can see how much it has used up. Some people change their disc every 2-3 times changing their pads. Personally for me, I never skim my disc and I will change only if necessary. As for the Brembo OEM products, I suggest you to be very careful with them. I've used a Brembo MAX rotor (so called Brembo OEM) but it's actually some bull shit product. It squeaks badly, the rotor doesn't use up evenly and all these suggest to me as if they are some China made imitation. If you want a good pad, I have an extra box of Stop Tech brake pads which I've ordered directly from USA. Genuine product and priced slightly more than the original pads you can buy locally but the Stop Tech gives a better bite/braking power.

On my ride, I have upgraded to Stop Tech cross drilled + slotted rotors in the front and Stop Tech brake lines, makes a hell lot of difference.

Thanks for the tip, but a bit too late, already changed all today!

No worries :) If you happen to change all then you can use it for some time. Normally the rotor/pads would last some time unless you drive a lot and visit Genting casino often

...visit Genting casino often.....the results could be a reward for a full set (front & rear) of ORIGINAL Brembo braking system or for the less fortunate ones, China made Brembo.

aoch88, let's do a drive up to Awana/Genting one of these days.

Sure boss Herbert :) To be honest I used to be a Genting kaki and I go up almost every weekend. I end up losing a lot of money to the casino so I stopped going :(

Thats a good suggestion, we should do a TT at Genting and get some tips from you guys!

Count me in, pm me at 019-622 8881, I just won 9k last week, tomorrow heading to Macau for trip....

If you win 9K then you're supposed to spend half of it on the car. Come on, show some love to your BMW :)

Spent half of my winning already, changed rims and new brake pads, add on camera front and rear view too.
