JB UDM owners,Need your input on the few non AB workshops in JB ... a few that I can think of wud be -1. Top Power, Taman Iskandar2. M-Technic, Tampoi and Johor Jaya3. Can't recall their name, Permas Jaya4. One more in Perling ..5. M5 Auto, Johor JayaAppreciate your input / feedback very much ... my babe needs TLC ..Cheers.

For me my mech is M Technic have been with them since I had my bmw and got no complaints and quite satisfied with their workmanship. Had not tried the rest but Tom recommended me to go to BM power at Permas jaya.... tried going there but they seem to be not too helpful!! Very dissapointed

Try to look for Ong or Andy at M Technic

Cheers

Really arr BMMAD? the shop at permas is BM Power... Mech, Michael... quite okay... helpful and able to give advice...

One mans meat is another man's poison  ....but anyway Permas is way off from where I'm staying.

They are both have the same taukeh or taukehs, they just opened the Johor Jaya branch quite some time back.

Thanks Bro.

Will be swinging by there tomorrow for a check up and possibly a service as well. Let's see then

Cheers.

There's another workshop for bimmers near Tampoi Indah behind the Shell Station next to the JB -> Skudai main road called Hi-Tech Something. Look for Rizman. Does a great job. :)

As for me I have been to all the non AB workshops in JB. I was born here. Sorry to be offended I think BM Power in Permas is not a pro! M-Technic cuts throat! For me the shop called Top Auto in Tmn Iskandar is the best! His price is very much lower and his workmanship is much more better than any of the workshops I have been. Another tips for you guys. Parts in Singapore is very very cheap! Example: Original BMW E36 brake pad only caused me 90 Singapore Dollars and the timing belt is only 25 Singapore Dollars. Here's the addres: Eng Soon Auto PTE LTD, 1090, 1094 Serangoon Road Singapore. Tell phone: 65 62917775 ( 8 lines ). The price quoted here is much more cheaper than Performance Motor PTE LTD in Singapore. In Singapore they are the agents for BMW. Actually there is another pro in JB town. I guess no one knows about him. Danny High Performance. Believe me I have seen Porche's and Ferari's here. He rents a small portion in a air cond shop. His name is Danny. He is quite good and cheap but the only problem is, he is a crazy guy. He likes to talk a lot! The place is just opposite TNB building at Jln Yahya Awal. The air cond shop is called Fresh air. His number is 019-7526531. He speaks very good english by the way. Try these places up. Good Luck!

vladd_tappish, may i know the contact & add for the Top Auto with u mention in tmn iskandar ? thank you man !

vladd any idea if there is a good workshop around tmn u area?
About parts in singapore, yupp they are surprisingly cheap, me always always buy them on my own and get my singapore mechanic to fit.

Hi Ersalle ,

Can you recommend me the mechanic in S'pore to fix up the part . I may go down to S'pore for some service. TQ. :D

SGSPQ, here's my mechanic:
Khairul Fahmi,
BLK. 9 SIN MING INDUSTRIAL ESTATE #01-40, SINGAPORE 575644.
Hp No. 91826996

Do call him 1st to make an appointment because sometimes he goes to KL to fix some cars. He's a trusted mechanic, former Performance Motors Mechanic and ALFA/FIAT/MASERATI mechanic. He's also good at other continental cars such as VOLVO, MERC., Peugueot etc. Don't be surprise to see some M'sian cars at his workshop if ur there. Labour charges from him are appropriate (no throat slasher type) trust me. :eek:k:

Went to M Technic Jalan Tampoi last week for tie rods replacement.
Jobs done but not really impressed with workmanship and it's expensive.

Hi there is a BMW specialist in TMN U. Look for MR. Koh. The address is:

TWO-B TRADING
24 Jln Perdagangan 12
Tmn Universiti
81300 Skudai
Johor
Tel: 07-5201220
H/P: 012-7127344

I guess this place offers very cheap price because I have overhauled my auto gear box including fly wheel oil seal, clutch set and brake band for just RM2300.00. I guess he is the cheapest in town.
