BMW S'pore club

just fruit of thought for El President (DD), i log in BMW sg club see our fellow beemers r visiting Melaka, Cameron Highland etc as their outingactivities.... so wat say u guys n gals ? possible join event with them ??? ............

Let me give you a little backgrounder on BMW-SG. Firstly they're not an official club recognised by BMW AG. They've clearly stated this fact in their website/forum. As such, they do not have a committee.

The committee has touched base with the administration team and as a friendly gesture, extended an invitation to them to attend our Grand TT in Souled Out on 5th March. But so far the response hasn't been very encouraging.

Check THIS out.

Of course we can participate in their drives and convoys to M'sia provided we are welcomed to do so....

Let's give them some time. I notice their forum is not as active as ours and very few people are online at any given time. That could be the reason. Maybe they're too busy looking for more $$$$$ to splash on their UDMs. But don't play play, I've seen M3 Cabrios and Z4s in their gathering....hahahaha.... h34r:

Indeed. You'd be hard pressed to see many E36s even. I was there for 3 whole days and saw only 3.

Doubt you can see many cars more than 10 years in Singapore. The COE renewal may not be justifiable. Might just as well scrap the car and get a new one. That is what happened to one friend of mine. He had to scrap his pristine Alfa (in showroom condition) just because of this.

There's one guy,whom I respect la..can outgunned an E46 with his E30M40 in Pasir Gudang track.

I know him...I've seen him in Pasir Gudang track!!! I salute him la..

I have heard some nice things about the BMW Club in Singapore. They are quite active and often have convoys to resorts in Malaysia. I've got a friend working in a 5-star resort in Klang Valley who told me they just made a big booking for rooms and car park area.

I'm not at liberty to disclose cos to reveal the place where a lot of nice BMWs will be parked overnight is to invite trouble. Suffice to say, it's next to a 36-hole golf course.
