Hi all, Good day to you,I have a 530d yr 08, recently i had a flat battery, i need some advice, if i got the battery replaced, will i need to send the car for re programming ? As someone replaced the battery for me but i still could not start the car, and also would like to ask if anyone here do have a used battery for my car

Mine is 525i .. Did battery change two months ago .. If im not mistaken, i change to Century battery only .. Not original one.. So far no problem .. Autobahn Sunway ..

Hi Azam, thanks for the advice, just ordered the century battery as well, but most probably i will still need to tow the car to re program it again as im using the diesel,

How much is the Century battery (if you don't mind sharing)? Original ones are very expensive.

is it dry or wet cell bro .. sound cheap tho.

although dry cell is free maintenance , i heard the wet cell is more stable. cheers

No need to have it towed if you know of someone that can do the registering of the new battery to the car and yes, each new battery replacement needs to be registered into the car system.

However, for the car not being able to start after a new battery has been replaced, its puzzling. Regardless if you have not done the setting of registering the battery to the car, with a new battery, your car should have been able to crank.

There must be some other reason why your car refuses to start but I doubt its the battery. Could be some sensor issues.

Cheers.

Hi, the problem was the turbo flap, my could only crank when the battery was replaced, then brought the car to quill, got my friend to initialize the turbo flap, only then it could start

I have changed the baterry twice, three year ago and last DEC - DIN 100 cap ayam, of course. I did not do any re-programming. The car can fantastic, albeit slower than Mr Presideng's car.
