Hi guys. I’m stuck overseas at the moment but wife said window stuck. Since got sound when she pressed the button , i believe the motor is fine and the culprit must be the regulator/gear. I would DIY such a thing as I never trust a mechanic to remove any intricate parts such as door trim without damaging it when the pry it out. Anyone can recommend a mechanic that will handle our car as well as ourselves?

any help would be appreciated

I also have the same issue, there is a mechanic in Sentul opposite the Laxmi Narayan Temple, his name is Vinod. He does a good job but need to buy the regulator.
There is BMW spare part shop nearby they sell original spare parts as well as OEM.

There is no guarantee that the clip wont break for a car that is 15 years.
The clips are easily replaceable. I think they cost about RM1.50 if you buy them in bulk.
