bmw E30 bodywork

hi guys,im planning to strip down my car soon, and repair its body from rust etc. any tips and advice? can you recommend me place to do this, the amount of budget i have to save?i also heard that E30's chassis need to be modified to make it last longer.. people call it chassis reinforcement. is this a must do thingy?
