I am trying to do a survey here on how long does a battery last, when is the right time to change subjected to driving habits and condition. Could we start off like this this? Car Model: Year: Date change battery: Mileage when change battery: Driving habits (e.g. short distance, long distance, etc): Please take note that this is not applicable if the battery is changed due to faulty.

Driving habits (e.g. short distance, long distance, etc): Short - about 15-25km per day

by the way, geoffreylee, your A4 clocks only 31k after 6 years, must be your second car or some sort. How's your ride?

I was more toward battery performance and life.. on this thread..

My car have done 76thousand KM but the battery last the mentioned amount. First chance of battery.
