Odometer Gears & Service Indicator board

searched in forum but could not find answer so I am posting to ask.Anyone have had your odometer repaired? I mean just replace the gears rather than the entire meter panel? Mine's broken i think due to age and heat. Anywhere I could get the spare part for gears alone?Also, the service indicator circuit boart is fried due to leaking battery. anyway to change it? can car run with the board removed?thanks

Most of BMWs spare part shop has it.

oops! sorry.. it's for my e30. Was told by the chop-shop there are different meters (white case back or bluse case back) and they use different gears/parts.

you mentioned bmw parts shop have the gears. got any recommendation near subang area? BA ? I've not called them yet.

Anyway, I bought the gears for my Motometer instrument cluster from First Division.. That was 3-4 years ago... RM130 for that 3 pieces of gears..

Moto Meter or VDO....try CSS Auto Parts, Bomin,First Division if you are somewhere around KL.

Bavarian Auto and OrtoJaya if you are in PJ and Sunway area.
