FYI if you're still shopping, better check out the new BMW's which now come with 5 year unlimited warranty and FOC 5 year scheduled maintenance.

Yes BMW Malaysia has finally increased the warranty period and offer free service for every new BMW. Tough luck for us existing owners =(

Yes the Auto Bavaria sales girl called me yesterday told me about the extended warranty, finally! damn gonna reconsider buying a new F30 or used F10 (budget punya pasal).... >.<

Haha I know how you feel bro but my 2 cents is on the warranty. These Beemers can be costly to repair when they break down. If you can wait I think BMW Malaysia might just be able to bring in the LCI F30 CBU batch by the end of this year and its quite safe to think that standard kit will increase too...fingers crossed.

From here I learnt that I must look at Comfort Mode (how to verify?) and better look for CKD (if that means Local car). What about UK spec?

How do we check LCI?

Last question:
Would recon 188k from UK (20k mileage) better than 175k used car 60-90k mileage? If price is not a concern..

Bro, get the chassis number and go online to decode the VIN. Look for item no. 223 Dynamic Damper Control.

LCI is the facelifted model, was introduced in Malaysia on october 2013.

If you are looking for diesel, then forget about recon car, even if its cheap, as the engine is not tuned to run on our low quality diesel .
