A little mod makes a big difference when you want to give character to your ride.

Like what we always say at Bimshop, the theme needs to flow from front till back when it comes to modding.

One of our dear bros, Bro Jinooi, who supported us from the initial launch of our Bimshop H8AE LED markers back in 2011 came by yesterday.

He was telling us one side of the AE rings was not working and upon our checking, the light was working fine except that the headlight set's wiring insulation was pretty much all cracked up and naked, ie naked wires touching and shorting resulting in intermittment lighting.

We redid the insulation and the light was working fine but he insisted on getting our latest H8AE LEDs (cos we regularly try to upgrade the led chip which is much brighter and less blue nowadays).

Take a look at the label on the resistor....the lights was from our aug 2011 batch and working fine even till now and Bro Jinooi got his set from us on 7th Dec 2011. Thats like coming close to 3 years now guys. Guess this is living proof of the sustainability of our Bimshop lights, assuming no electrical problems on the part of the car.

This is the value added services that we provide at Bimshop.

The installation of AE LED Markers for the newer models are usually a 5-10 min affair. Most workshops probably send u guys going asap after they install it.

However, here at Bimshop, we can spend up to 1hr just to redo your wiring before the installation of the AE LED Markers. We do not earn anything extra from doing that and in fact the time could be used to do other cars.

So why do we do that? As what we have shared previously, the health of the car's electrical system,eg wiring etc will affect the lifespan of the AE LED Markers. Under normal conditions, our Bimshop AE LED markers can last 2-3 years or more depending on usage. However, in the case of exposed wiring, the naked wires touching each other will not kill the light immediately. Instead, it would slowly short it every time you use it. Instead of the usual 2-3 years lifespan, the lights will probably short itself out in 3-6 months time, depending on severity of the shorting.

Whenever possible, we always do an assessment of your wiring and reinsulate it prior to the installation of our lights. And when we do, we use only the best stuff we can find such as 3m electrical tape, not some cheapo tape. In fact, we will be bringing in liquid electrical tape soon before the end of this year.

Why we are sharing all this information, is to let folks know the difference between Bimshop (our products and services) and more importantly to better understand your own ride, its wear n tear problems and how we can work together to make things work better, last longer and of cos, as usual making your ride looks as beautiful as possible.

This is how committed we are at Bimshop.
When we announce a new product or service, its not out of the blue.
Most of you probably know we spend probably few months studying/researching/testing it before we announce it.

So as per announced previously, we will be providing the service of bulb changing for taillights since alot of customers been asking for it.

Look at the pic.....we are ready guys....haha
